I started releasing music internationally three years before I ever formally studied the industry — and that gap taught me more than any classroom could. I completed Algonquin College’s Music Industry Arts program with Honours, then spent the next three to four years actually in the industry, managing EDM artists, before going back for Carleton University’s Media and Communications program — because I wanted the analytical and contractual side down cold, not just the creative side.

Along the way, I kept watching talented artists get stuck — not from lack of talent, but from lack of access to the strategy, mentorship, and industry knowledge that actually moves the needle. That’s why I founded Allingham Management, based in Ottawa: to close that gap for dubstep, drum & bass, bass music, trap, progressive house, and melodic electronic artists, one artist at a time. No artist gets left behind because of income or status — that’s not a tagline, it’s how I built this company.

I built Allingham Management the way I wish someone had built it for me — education-first, with real operational discipline behind the creative direction: release strategy, branding, content systems, label and playlist outreach, booking guidance, and the industry introductions that only come from years inside the scene.

I keep my roster deliberately small — I’d rather go deep with a handful of serious artists than chase volume. Electronic music, underground through mainstage, is the only lane I work in, so I’m never learning the genre alongside an artist; I already speak the language.
